   Congratulations David!   I've got your book and was trying to read it until my youngest grandson stole it from me.  It grabs the reader from the first sentence and doesn't let go – and apparently it works for all ages.  I managed to skim through most of it before it was pilfered and can hardly wait to get it back!  You obviously have a very clear and focused recollection of the curious and daring mind of a young boy, and a sensitive understanding of a period of American history that not many young people understand.  Very impressive.  You did yourself proud!
